Hello everyone,

I created a script which generates a PythonPart that consist of several elements and I was wondering how can I make a legend that counts it properly alongside with other non-python parts?

Scenario:
Let’s say that the python part consists of 42 elements, which number I already have as an attribute output. I have also other 3D objects in the file with calculation mode of “Pc”. How can I make a legend that sums up the independent 3D objects and the PythonPart (but with the number of included objects within).

Approaches:
At first, I tried to assign the number to the “Piece” attribute and set the calculation mode to “Pc”. Although he attribute changes, it is displayed in grey and the legend seems to still count it as 1. (see “Attributes2.jpg”)

I also tried just working with another attribute, for example “Mark number” which shows the correct number of items as per object, but fails to generate total, count. I was wondering if its due to the numbers being integers rather than length, or it generally expects to see text in that attribute (at the symbols input zone it shows the symbol A1-999, others I1-999 which I have no clue what represent.

EDIT: Found out that A,I, F represent the format of the output A-text, I -integer etc., and managed to fix the legend with the Mark Number attribute. So only the question how to make it work with the "Piece" attribute remains.

Thank you in advance,
Dobromir
