Question:

I have changed my contracts from Service Plus to Subscription. Is there anything to consider for Bim+ and Share?
I have purchased a new Allplan Subscription license, how do I get my Bim+ and Share license that is included in it?


Answer:

Because your licenses have been converted to subscription and the contract numbers have changed as a result. You will have to reassign the licenses to your BIM+ team.
Unfortunately, we cannot spare you this effort, as you may have several teams and we do not know for which team you need the licenses.
Also if you have purchased a new subscription license, it must first be assigned to your team.


1. Assign licences in Allplan Connect
Log in to the Allplan Connect page connect.allplan.com. Click on "Manage Allplan Cloud licenses" in the "Allplan Cloud" area on the right.
Here you can assign your Allplan Service Cloud licenses to your team. To do this, click on Assign license or Check license and then Assign under your desired team.
If you have several licenses, click on back and assign them as well.

2. Check licenses in Bimplus
Then check the allocation of licenses to the employees. To do this, log in to BIM+ Portal portal.bimplus.net and check the allocation of licenses by clicking on Team members at the bottom left. Your Bimplus and Share licenses are assigned to the team owner by default. If another user is to work with the licenses, the licenses must be assigned to a user by the team owner. Only the team owner and the team admin can assign these licenses to team members.
