Which license files can I download from Allplan Connect and what do I need to consider?



Answer:

Allplan Connect provides current and earlier licenses for Allplan (single seat and NemSLock license server), for Allplan BCM and activation codes for the IBD wizards.

If you require licenses for the hardlock license server, please send an email to: logistik-center@nemetschek.de

The licenses are sorted chronologically by Allplan version and seat number.

Always use the current license even if you work with an earlier version.


Assignment is as follows:

• NemSLock pseudo -> temporary license (Allplan with NemSLock)
• NemSLock Server pseudo -> temporary license (Allplan with NemSLock license server)
• Hardlock -> license (Allplan with dongle)

The earlier licenses are only listed for the sake of completeness and should only be used if you have problems with the current licenses.

Depending on the licensing system you use, you need to consider different points.



Allplan with NemSLock

You can download the temporary license for Allplan, which is only necessary for installing Allplan on a new computer.

Note:
You can use the current NemSLock license to install all Allplan versions down to and including Allplan 2006.

• Upgrading an existing seat

The license updates automatically. Insert the DVD into the drive and follow the instructions displayed.
Click 'Existing license file' when you are prompted to select the license file.
If hardware components have changed since the last registration, you need to register again.
In this case, the wizard for creating a registration request starts automatically during installation. Please send this request to the address given and wait for the new license file, which you will get by email. Use this license file for installing.

• New installation on a new computer

The licenses only update automatically when you upgrade. To install Allplan on a new computer, please read the following instructions:

Allplan with NemSLock license server

You can download the temporary license for NemSLock license server and the client license, which are only necessary for installing NemSLock license server or an Allplan seat on a new computer.

• Upgrading existing seats with NemSLock license server

First you need to upgrade the licenses at the license server by registering the licenses again and installing the new, registered license files. Before upgrading the client, you need to select the new license using License Manager so that it is found by the Setup program. You can then run Setup.

Allplan with dongle

You can download the license for Allplan, which is only necessary for installing Allplan on a new computer.

If the system issues a message prompting you to enter an activation code or announcing that the license is not valid, please contact technical support.
