I would like to install Allplan, and I have a Product Key. How can I install Allplan and activate the Product Key?


Answer:

Allplan licensing is based on CodeMeter by Wibu Systems AG.

Allplan requires a Product Key. Using this key, you can activate your license online. The Product Key is a unique, 26-digit character string. You can use it to activate a license for Allplan.
You can find your Product Key in Allplan Connect. Go to http://connect.allplan.com/license
Note: The license is downwards compatible til version Allplan 2016 even if a higher version is displayed.

Your license for Allplan is activated after installation, when you start Allplan for the first time. The license is activated online. You can either start Allplan directly here or close the license window. Activating the license links it to your computer and allows you to start Allplan on this computer.

Activating the license works easiest and fastest if the computer on which the license is to be activated has Internet access.

Activating the license during Allplan startup

• Start Allplan
• The 'License settings' dialog box appears first.
• Click on License Activation on the left.
• Enter your product key.
• Click Activate license
• After successful activation, click Start Allplan at the bottom.

Activate license in advance via the Allmenu/Services:

1. Call up the 'License Settings' dialog box via Allmenu/Services -> Utilities -> License Settings.
2. Click on License Activation on the left.
3. Enter your product key.
4. Click Activate License.

You can find your Product Key in Allplan Connect. Go to http://connect.allplan.com/license
Click Profile -> License administration.
Only administrators can use this function.
