Question:

How can I control how the component axes (such as wall axes) look on screen and in printouts?
How can I exclude component axes from printouts?

Answer:

On screen: Tools->Options-> Components and architecture->Display component axes(select this check box or clear it)

Version 2015 or later:
In printouts:Print Layouts-> Printer tab -> 'Elements to print' -> Set -> Component axis (wall, upstand, beam)(select this check box or clear it).

Version 2014 or later:
In printouts:Print Layouts-> Printer tab -> 'Elements to print' -> Set -> Component axis (wall, upstand, beam)(select this check box or clear it).

Version 2013 or earlier:
In printouts: Plot Layouts -> Selection tab -> Plot elements / settings -> Component axis(wall, upstand, beam) (select this check box or clear it)

Note:

The program internally creates component axes even if you have chosen not to display them on screen. Consequently, these "invisible" axes appear in printouts if the "Component axis" option is selected.
