In my opinion, actualy, there is 3D Line, 3D surface, Solid 3D.

So it not possible to create a non-planar surface without thickness for example.

Maybe there is possibility in the 3D modeler to create CANOPY

I think that this is the only possibility. Draft the non-planar Surface and convert it in 3D.
