I'd like to find more documentation on interactors, the differences between a normal python part and an interactor, picturebuttons etc. Where can I find such information?

I don't know any official documentation on the topic. I found it easiest to compare interactors to other pythonparts. Difference in code is about some other methods implemented in the main PythonPart class.
