Reinforced masonry

Hello. At the top of all masonry walls we must put a kind of continuous "beams", and this beams are of different lengths and there are a lot of them. I usally reinforce them manually, and as they are of different lenghts, each time i copy the longitudinal bars, make a section, asign a new mark to the bars so do not change the original bars and then i stretch them to the needed size. Is the a way to do this without making a section and asigning new mark, so i just change the bar length and the length of the original bar remain the same, like this is done in autocad structural? Thx

Hello,
in Allplan 2016 we changed the procedure of tool "Stretch Entities".
Now it's possible to use "Stretch Entities" without assign a new mark to the bars, only the selected bars will be modified. The same behavior is in DOM (direct object modification) with handles, please have a look at it.
I hope you save time with this new behavior and last but not least it should be more intuitive for new users.

Kind regards

Thx very much for you answer and i kave one more small question, i checked my PC on necessary technical requirements and i got ok for recommended settings, but if i have a file with a bigger amount of reinforcement on it, each time i am making a new 2Dline the Allplan freeze for some seconds, so witch part should i improve? Thx
