[Frage] Smart symbols - net/gross volume

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to show in Concreting work report (or anywhere) exact volume of Smart symbol?
Let's say i have created a 3D Box, cutted a hole in it and create a Smart Symbol based on this object.
Volume attribute have always value equal to multiplication of external dimensions of Smart Symbol.

Is it possible to take into account removed volume of 3D object in label?

Ciao Karol. I think you have to convert the 3D solid into U-D elements and after that you have to ask the report to analize the U-D object and not the smart object.
I don't know if there is another way to do that. Maybe with a custom report. But the problem is that the attributes of the smart object seem not linked with the geometrical shape of the object (you can have only the coordinates of the points of the "edge" of the box I think).

thank you for your answer.

Yes, after conversion volume is OK, but we are losing attributes that were assigned to this Smart symbol (which was imported from another program ).

It is possible to save attributes of Smart Symbol of course and then assign them to converted (to Solid) Smart Symbol - but it is time-consuming if we have more objects to deal with.

Ciao Karol. Yeah but the smart symbols you mean are all different or they are the same istance. Cause probably you can manage that quickly using Allplan filter for multiple attribute assignments.
