Is there any way for the commands to enter directly to the brackets (Σ) or to keep it activated by default?

Personally I find it a delay not being able to make several selection windows in a row if this is not activated, many times I have to cancel what I'm selecting because I need an element that is not in the window I start to make, and it's a waste of time.
