Hi brijesh_borad,
your question regarding cranked bars can, in principle, be implemented using the standard workflow for 3D reinforcement.
As a general guideline I would do the following:
- You have a model together with at least one plan view and one section (so that all three dimensions X/Y/Z are covered by the two views)
- Using the “Freeform” command, you can create the cranked bar in the section view (you must be familiar with and apply the regulations of your country yourself; in Germany, the minimum crank ratio is 1:12)
- Next, I would create an overall extraction and refine the bar using point modification (this can also be done at a later stage)
- You then place this bar using individual placement in the plan view
- You can now also rotate this bar by 45° inward in the plan view (depending on how you plan the lap splice)
- Afterwards, rotate this bar four times about the column centerline
- I would also recommend to add constructional links/ stirrups so that the site team can check the installed reinforcement in the splice region
Makes sense?
Mit besten Grüßen, Kai
