I'm engineering a building that uses a lot of steel beams and columns.
I made 2 offsets at bottom of the window and top of the window and want to surround it with a steel structure 10mm above and below the window opening so i've made two beams +10mm on the bottom and -10mm on the top. and two columns in between like in fout1.png.

So far so good...
but then when i'm working on other areas of layers it forgets the 10mm offset. When I select the column it then adds the offset again. I have to select all steel structures to get the offsets correct again but after a while or actualising the 3D model everything is wrong again.

The whole steel structure addition was sort of broken from the start and had it's quirks but this is making me unable to finish the project.
