[Frage] Mesh

Schlagworte:
  • Mesh overlap

Hello,

I have an example of mesh reinforcement (see the image). There are diferent overlaps in vertical direction betwen meshes. When I use the tool : Span reinforcement there I can define overlap in both directions(vert. and trans.), but those overlaps are fixed, the dimensions don't change. I would like to know if it is possible to define mesh where Allplan calculates overlaps by itself or I need FEM results, which I think was used in my case.

Thank you for your answer.

Hi Jdani,

In fact there is no automatic calculation of overlap in Allplan.

By looking on the 'cross section' catalog, you can see the minimum overlap for each kind of Meshes.

Than when you place any mesh, you will see the same value.

By the way, you can click on the icone 'Overlap' in longitudinal or cross direction to change it. Depending of your placement, Allplan will try to optimise the placement that the overlap is bigger than the minimum.

But there is no more possibility.

Thank you for your understanding.
