[Frage] Correct use of AllplanReinf.DivideBarsParameters ? [Gelöst]

Hello,

I'm having trouble getting 'BarsOperations.DivideBarsPlacement' to work on a simple placement of longitudinal bars.

I think it has to do with the DivideBarsParameters function that I'm not using correctly?
The information that is found here is also a bit confusing to me, since the parameters are named after things they can not (yet) do?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hello Steven,

you were right - if the placement is not a part of edited PythonPart it is possible to divide this placement quite easy - as you showed in the first post

Best regards

Hello,

did you manage to use the "BarsOperations.DivideBarsPlacement' method?
I can't obtain any successful result :/ I get a message: "no placement defined" as a result from the operation.
When I'm trying to GetBaseElementAdapter from the placement I got Null element (I don't know why), which can be the reason why there is no effect of division

Best regards
Karol

Hi Karol,

I did not succeed in using 'DivideBarsPlacement', so I just created more shapes and placements in the script.
Maybe 'DivideBarsPlacement' is meant to be only used on bars that are already in the model and not just in the model_ele_list in the script?

Best regards,
Steven
