Dear All user / Allplan Support Team,

Can we assign Pen weight (thickness) less than 0.13 mm? I wish to assign less than 0.05 mm and slowly / gradually increase.

Or Can we used user pen weight(thickness)? If yes, please share work flow.

Hi Atul,

As far as I know you can assign up to max. 8 pen thicknesses in Allplan by default to use. This can be defined in the Default options which are to access under the tab Tools --> Defaults --> Pen Thickness + Format QuickSelect. After this you get a menu where you can define the desired pen thicknesses under number 1-8, see attachment. This will change/effect everything in your project which uses these thicknesses like all of your layers which are defined to use a pen thickness number 1-8.

If you want to define always different pen thicknesses and you do not want to change these default pen thicknesses you can make a pattern, also under Tools, which is just a regular filled square and assign this to a line. In the properties of the line you then can afterwards define the desired thickness, also different thickness at the start and end of the line.

Hope this helps you a bit further in this.

Kind regards,

Nick
