I modeled two columns with diferent heights, but in both I have longitudinal bars with same length. Program gives them a different position numbers, so I want them to be the same numbers as they have identical geometry parameter, buut program doesn`t allow me to change number of second column bars on 122. Where could be the problem? Thanks!

[Frage] Bars position in columns [Gelöst]

Hi Mr Cowley,
So first of all it depend in which software are you working?
Because it different if you use a Standard Allplan or if you work with Planbar (Allplan Precast).
I presume you work with Allplan.
So in this case:
If you have different bars with same lenght, the system will never assign the same mark position automatically.
Because maybe you have stretch the bars and you will do it again. So maybe you don't want that all same bars are modified together.
if you want to get the same mark number, you should use a tool named "reorganize mark positon".
You have to unselect 'Lock' and by validating, you will see that the bars get the same mark position.
In all case, it's not possible to assign manualy the same mark position to a bars if the mark position is allready in use.
Now your bars will get the same mark position, now you should know how to plit the position if you need to stretch a part of the bars.

mr_crowley, try the command "Rearrange Marks" in Engineering menu. Allplan automatically merges rebars with same lengths.
Thanks for help!!
Is it possible to make 3D report for reinforcement bars. I have bar bended one time in Z and once in Y direction but in report is seen only one bending.
