Adjust Legend criterion(filter)

Hi all,

my question is, is it possible to make legend with certain range? To be specific, I need to create reinf. legend for one wall and the positions for that wall goes from 1-15. I don't need to show other positions in other walls at the time. What filter to use?

I apologize for any wrong spelling in the text. English is not my language.

Thanks

Dear Ratm22,

There is few possibility:

1°) You can create a new legend which allways keep the bars with mark position between 1 and 15. But this is maybe not what you need. To do that, you must and rename the engineering legend. Open the report menu and use the tool 'Modify legend'. Than you can open you legend and add a filter linked to the mark position in the menu 'Select'.

2°) By using the tool legend, you can deactivate the 'Associativity' option, than Allplan will ask what do you want to select.

And you could select your wall or all requested bars.

You can also use an engineering filter to ask bars 1 to 15.

By activate the 'Associativity option', Allplan keep alls bars in the active drawing file.

Good Use!

Dear Judy,

thank you for a quick response.
I managed to work it out through your solution 2). But I would like to know what filter to use/insert for certain positions in solution 1), since there is a lot of attribute filters out there.

Thanks

Dear Ratm22,

This is easy (when you know)!

if you use the tool modify legend, you can open this engineering list and see which attribut(variable) is used for the Mark position.

I have all version, but i just try on 2015, and it keep the last variable for the engineering module.

For your information, it also possible to call any attribut with an internal index. For example this attribut is @767@.

If you type this text @767@ in a custum attribut you will the standard text translated on your language.

By the way we know now which attribut.

If we need want to use it in your case, i will make two condition.

First will be to say, we want to use only bars: this is the standard filter on the select.

Second will be: Keep all bars Under 16: so we can write something like @767@<16. It means bars between 1-15.

Now an important point, you must use a correct link between this 2 condition.

For example, i will use the command 'Or' which is also |.

So if i now do it on the legend, i will see (see capture screen below).

It's also possible to save your filter and modify it manualy with a notpad.

Enjoy & Good Use!
