Esteemed,
I am trying to use the IFC Object Type attribute with the value IfcFlowSegment, and I cannot enter the value.
Is there any limitation in Allplan IFC attributes?
Regards,
Miguel

Hi Miguel,

As I'm aware, instantation of IFCFlowSegment in Standard was changed to Optional from IFC2x3 to IFC4.

However, if you type by hand IfcFlowSegment in IFC Object Type line, it should be added to your attribute list.
Have you try it?

With regards,
JP

Hi JP,

It works!
Is it possible to apply IFC attributes to Python Parts?

Thanks

Miguel

Hi Miguel,

I don't know your preferred method of creating PYParts. Maybe this will help:

https://connect.allplan.com/it/forum/topics/topic/topics/pythonparts-1/assign-object-attributes-solved.html

Also check Examples in folder, such as:
