Allplan 2016 plan crushes with embedded excel objects afer some windows updates

Hi,

has somebody any idea for the solution of the following problem?

Many plans were ceated by Allplan 2016 and after some Windows updates from december of 2018 Allplan crushes when we open a plan which contains embedded Excel files.

Operation System: Windows 7 pro.

Hi thuongns35,

If I remember correctly, Windows update changed how OLE objects are treated in programs that are using OLE technology. Some irregulear cropping of Excel OLE objects occured and similar. I think there was a fix for that. There is a chance that your problem is related to that.

Try updating Allplan to latest hotfix. I think it was 2016-1-13.
