Anyone tried successfully importing data from Sofistik (V2014) with the ASF file format?
For me it reads the file (no error message), I see the outline of the slab but no further data. is something switched off?

Dear Elmar,
Did you find your information.
I suppose this topic is more for the engineering part. Because FEM is calculation part.
Thank you for the feedback.
I will move your post in the engineering. That's why maybe you didn't get an answer.
By importing an ASF file in Allplan, you will see the geometry first.
But you can see the diagram result of the AS (reinforcement section) in all direction on the plate.
There is special tool in the engineering to see the result. So you are right, you can't see it without use the correct tool.
To use it, you must activate the drawing file as passive mode and choose another drawing file in active mode.
And than you can click on the FEM Interface to display the result.
To close it, you must click on the same icone and deactivate the display (first icone on the top).
And you can use this result with special color to add bars on your plate and check that reinforce it properly!
Good use & Enjoy!

@Elmar
Hi,
We're looking at trade between Sofistik and Allplan too, so I'd like to know how to create the *.asf file from Sofistik.
Best
Christophe
Hi Christophe,
there is a exe- file called export2neme.exe in the analysis folder which creates the asf file. unfortunatly only for 2D- Systems, like slabs etc.
so you need to define a 2D system (project settings) in sofistik to be able to export it.
Good luck,
Elmar
Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
