[Frage] Anyone using a Mac? [Gelöst]

Hello

I'm looking at buying a new computer and I want to run AllPlan Architecture 2020 on it. Can you please tell me if you have experience running AllPlan on a Mac and what it's like? I'm especially curious about running it on one of the newer models with the M1 chip instead of an Intel chip.
Any information you can give me will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Allplan 2020 is not supported on the new MAC with M1 Chips. (but some users did solved to install 2020 on it)

But to be future proof:
In 2021 there will actually no support -> See hardware requirements:

as Allplan 2021 will need a processor with AVX support, it actually will not work.

Hello,

The video you mention is not an installation on a Mac, but on a Shadow virtual machine (remote PC), accessible from any computer (Windows, MacOS, Linux, etc...).

Ok, that one fooled me. But in the mean time, I gave it another try. I updated Windows 11 Arm to the latest version and updates. After that I tried to install version 2022.1.5. To my surprise it completed and I can start Allplan as a Viewer now. I have to transfer the license for a full test, but installation went as intended and everything seems to be fine now.
