Question:

During the update to Windows 8.1 I am prompted to uninstall the Sentinel runtime drivers. How can I do this?


Answer:

Press the 'Windows + X' key combination. The context menu opens. Select the Device Manager. Go to 'USB controller' in the right pane of the Device Manager. Click SafeNet Inc. Hardlock Key with the right mouse buttons and select 'Uninstall'. Do the same with SafeNet Inc. USB key.
Now you have uninstalled the hardlock driver and you can continue to update Windows.

After the update please refer to the following instructions for installing the driver again.
