[Pregunta] Slow response - freezing work

I don't understand what can i do to make allplan respond faster. When i check open hardware monitor my resources are not utilized even 25%.
I wait from 0-3 seconds during stages of commands even on empty drawing. why i don't get that in any other programs and they use much more resources.

I had same problems in my laptop with my NVIDIA GTX 1060 (poor performance and freeze).

I think this is an issue with the Game Drivers/Apps from NVIDIA.

My solution was uninstall all NVIDIA drivers using 'Display Driver Unistaller' by Guru3D (http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html); then, I installed again NVIDIA Drivers, but selecting 'Custom Install (advance)' and only the Graphic Driver (not 3D Vision, Audio HD, GeForce Experience or PhysX).

Hope this help you.

I DO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM , ITS VERRY SLOW AND THE TOOLBAR IS CONSTANTLY REFRESHING WHEN I TRY TO DO SOMETHING

Coraberu, i might have found out why.
my diagnose is GTX (consumer end graphic card)

I guess you got the newest geforce "gaming" drivers installed. Guess what: uninstall and let windows install them. Now it works like a charm
Those basic drivers that windows automatically installs from nvidia, work much better with professional software for GTX series. ;)

Worked for me, hope it helps.

Hi Ziga,

Well that surprised me, i thought only gtx series have such problems. anyone else have such problems on quadro cards?

I now have older driver from nvidia (that windows installs automatically) and works 2x better than with new, but for quadro it shouldn't be so bad. well i don't have quadro to test, i think its the software's fault than for not being enough optimized.

Thats all i found out... :/

Maybe should should have a look at this FAQ from allplan Support:

mainly hels step 4 from that FAQ:

4. Color scheme selected in Allplan:
Start Allplan, open the ‘View’ menu, point to ‘Toolbars’ and select ‘Customize User Interface’. Open the ‘Customize’ tab and set ‘Color scheme and icon design’ to ‘Windows’.

or in Network env:

8. Name resolution on the network
If Allplan takes several minutes to start, name resolution on the network may not work....

But Please see all hint in that FAQ linked above ..

Hello,

Please check the pourcentage on the drawing file when it is empty, you should see 0 or 1%. If not it means you have something strange with data in background.

Maybe one of your wizzard is corrupted and push and error by loading the memory. So you can remove the wizzard and try out.

You can also check if you don't have an external NDW open.

Bye & Good use!
